Aged Coffee | Legacy of the Monsoon Winds

Born by accident and refined by tradition, Monsooned Malabar dates back to the days of the British Raj. As Indian beans sailed around the Cape of Good Hope, the moist sea air transformed them—reducing acidity, swelling the beans, and deepening their character.

Today, this aging is recreated on land by exposing beans to the humid monsoon winds for 12–16 weeks. The result: a bold, earthy brew with syrupy texture, low acidity, and rich notes of spice, wood, and cocoa. Distinctive and mellow, Monsooned Malabar is a global specialty icon—powerful yet smooth.
